This article provides a detailed guide on how to create custom templates for your brochures and window cards within Loop's settings. By creating these templates, you can ensure all your property marketing materials are consistent with your branding and have a professional look.
Getting Started
From the top-right corner of your Loop account, click on Settings.
Navigate to the new Brochures and Window Cards section.
Before you begin creating a template, it's a good idea to set up your default styling.
Click on the Brochure and Window Card Template Settings button.
Here, you can choose the default font, text color, and page color to match your brand. You can enter specific hex codes to ensure the colors are precise.
You can also add Custom Text Items, such as disclaimers, office opening times, or social media links. These can be easily added to any template you create later.
Creating a Brochure Template
You should only need to create a few templates at most, as you will reuse them for different properties.
In the Brochures and Window Cards section, click on Create New Template.
Name your template (e.g., "Brochure - Stylish") and add a description if you wish.
Select whether the template is for a Sales or Lettings property and choose the orientation (Landscape or Portrait).
Click Create to enter the template editor.
Designing Your Pages
In the template editor, you will see a preview of your pages. You can customize each page by adding or changing the layout and content.
Cover Page:
Choose from several cover page styles like
Hero
(text overlays the photo),Classic
(text is below the photo), orModern
.Set the page color and choose what kind of address format you want to display.
You can also add a custom image like your company logo. To do this, upload your logo, and you can then resize and position it anywhere on the page.
Adding More Pages:
Click Add a new page to continue building your brochure.
You can choose different layouts for each page, such as a photo gallery, a page for the property description, or a combination of both.
For the final page, you might want to select a layout with one large image and use this space for a floor plan when you create the actual brochure for a property.
To add a custom text item, click Add Custom Text. You can choose one of your saved items or type new text directly into the box. You can then move and resize the text box as needed.
Once you are happy with the template, click Save. This will save the template to your account, and it will be available to use for any property.
Creating a Window Card Template
The process for creating a window card template is very similar to creating a brochure.
Click Create New Template and this time, ensure you select Window Card under the print options.
Name your template and click Create.
Choose from the selection of available layouts for your window card.
You can customize what property details you want to include, such as features, tenure, and property type.
When you are done, click Save.
Your new templates will now be ready for you to use on a property's Media and Text page. Simply select the template you want to use, and Loop will automatically populate it with the property's information, allowing you to quickly create professional marketing materials.
